I write and talk about videogames and other interesting nerd-culture happenings in a variety of different places and publications.

I've written a few books and invest a lot of time and effort trying to be involved in interesting projects - details of all of should be on this site. If they're not here yet, they will be soon.

I'm based at the Nottingham Trent University and work from the Broadway Media centre and a heavily augmented shed, which is where I'm at my happiest.

I also direct the GameCity festival.
